Dakota's soft pelt blew against the gentle breeze. Her legs moving quickly across the the green terrain. Her light blue eyes flashed through the surroundings. She was slowing down from the trot the had been in. She looked around once more, finally ready to join a pack. With a single howl she sent her request. Her song was the almost perfect mix between high and low. Her throat releasing her hope. Although she had been in this realm since she was very young she hadn't gathered enough courage to request herself into a pack.

Taro had been padding lazily through the forest when he heard a distinct howl drift over the valley. He quickly changed direction and headed toward the sound. He had been following a scent for some time now, and he wondered whether this was who it belonged to. The terrain changed quickly, and soon he found the wolf who had sounded the howl. A young femme, standing in the open, waiting for him to answer her call.
Greetings. I am the Moonlight Valley's alpha. What can I do for you?

Dakota slowly faced the alpha, it amazed her to finally see one in real life and not just imagine them from stories. Although he did not look very different from other wolves he seemed to carry himself with pride a courage... something she would never be able to do. Her eyes lit up as she spoke, I am Dakota, I have been thriving the realms as a loner for three years. I request to join your pack. She was suprised that she was able to speak to an alpha with such courage. She hoped that this alpha would accept her for she was growing very lonely.Ooc: sorry for typos, spll check not working.

Taro looked at her closely, trying to find her real intentions that lied in her heart. Finally, he said,
I have but one question to ask of you, and that is why. What proof is there that I can trust you?
He knew she would make a good pack member, but he was curious as to what her answer may be. It could determine whether or not she stays, and whether he could trust her.

Dakota held her stance, although surprised at the alphas question. She looked him in the eye and squinted, I'm not sure why you wouldn't trust me sir. Her eyes stayed locked on his, her pelt swirling in her own wind. She blew a gentle breeze past the brute, her spirit singing silently.

Taro examined her with clear orbs that seemed to see straight through her. After a moment's thought, he nodded. With a shrew smile on his face, he said to her,
Welcome to the Moonlight Valley pack, Dakota. Don't make me regret my choice,
he added. A light seemed pulse around him as he turned away from her, seeming to melt into the landscape. He was interested in this wolf, and he would keep a close eye on her. But for now, he had other business to attend to.

Dakota was overjoyed. She was about to leap in joy when she realized she had to keep her cool. She bowed eeply and held it until he had walked away. She quickly bounded the opposite direction without a care in the world. She had a home now, she had been a loner for so long but she was home now... just where she belonged.

Taro watched from the top of a hill, hidden by shadows and trees. He watched her bound away in joy, happy that she had a home.
So, she's of the wind element.... interesting.
He turned away and headed for the other side of the territory.
